New Hampshire Community Technical College: Basics of Supply Chain Management
New England College: Master's of Science in Management with Operations Concentration
New England College announces the 36 credit Master of Science in Management, Operations Management concentration, will begin Thursday, September 6th, at the New Hampshire Community Technical College, Pease Trade Port with the course "Organizational Management and Leadership."
The program is specifically designed with APICS- related content geared to leaders in supply chain management and related fields.
The eleven course program runs for two years, with courses meeting for seven weeks in length, one night a week, from 5:30 to 10:30 PM, with a web-based course component.
Courses include "Managing Projects in Organizations," "Managerial Accounting and Finance for Leadership," "Supply Chain Management," "Quality Analysis for Technology," and "Strategic Planning and Policy."
New England College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Tuition is $405 a credit, but discounted at 5% for all APICS members (discount applies to all chapters).

Certification
Maintenance
For
the CPIM's and CFPIM's in the chapter, you must apply to APICS to
maintain your certification. Maintenance requires 75
"points" for CPIM's and 100 "points" for
CFPIM's. Maintenance involves receiving points for various
activities over a 5 year period. As an example, you may receive 1
point for every hour of professional development (dinner meetings
qualify) and 6 point/year just for being an APICS member. In case
you haven't been keeping your journal up to date, we've previously
listed all Dinner Meetings since Sept 97. If you need a copy of the
past dinner meeting schedules, please send an email to Ed Lamarine.
